The Tachus Real Estate Referral Program FAQ

In addition to our referral program that customers can use to rack up FREE months of service, Tachus is now offering a Real Estate Referral Program that realtors can use to get their clients a month of FREE Internet AND some exciting rewards for themselves! Here's how it works.
How does the Real Estate Referral Program work?
Each Real Estate Referral Associate has a unique referral link and QR code that is easy to share with clients. When your clients use your referral link and complete their installation, they get a month of free Tachus Fiber Internet, and you get $100!
How do I log into my Tachus account?
Once you're a Tachus Real Estate Associate, you can log into your Tachus portal at my.tachus.com to see if any of your clients have signed up for Tachus.
Once you fill out the application to become a Tachus Real Estate Referral Associate, you'll receive an email from us with instructions to set up your account. The "Number of people referred" button in the portal will show how many people have used your unique referral link or QR code. Click on this button, and your unique referral link will be ready to copy and share with your clients.
How do I track the clients I refer?
Once you click "Number of people referred," you will see the list below, which displays each client's name and status.

Now Enjoying Tachus: Your client has completed their installation and is now a Tachus customer!
Install Scheduled: Your client has scheduled an installation and is almost a Tachus customer.
Needs To Schedule: Your client lives in an area with Tachus service but has not yet scheduled their installation.
Out of Service Area: Oh no! Your client does not live in an area that currently has Tachus service. But don't worry. You'll get credit if they ever do.
What if I don't see my client on the list?
The highlighted portion of the referral link below will match your contact ID on your my.tachus.com login. If a client you referred is not showing up on your account, please contact us, and we will be able to connect your client's account to your referral link if they haven't been installed yet.
How do I share my referral link with clients?
Once in the Tachus portal, click the box labeled "Number of people referred" to find your unique referral link and a list of your referred clients. Click the "COPY LINK" button and then press CRTL+V to paste your link in a text or email to your client. You can also share the direct link by copying and pasting.
What will my client see when they click my referral link?
When your client clicks on your unique referral link, it will send them to the page below with the same link showing that this referral belongs to them.
Your client will then enter their address and press "CHECK NOW" to select their speed, enter their contact information, pay a $49 installation fee, and schedule their installation appointment. Once these steps are completed, you will be able to go to your portal and track your client's status.
How does this program benefit my client?
Your clients will get a FREE month of Tachus service.
Why is my referral not showing in my MyTachus portal?
Referrals only appear in your MyTachus portal when someone clicks on and uses your unique referral link to register for service. As soon as your client uses your unique link, you will see the referral displayed in your portal.
When will I receive my incentive payment?
You will get $100 for each installation that has been completed through your unique referral link. Payments will be made at the end of each month.
Is there a limit to how many incentive payments I can earn?
Not at all! There is no limit to how many incentive payments you can receive. However, as independent contractors, all realtor partners will receive a 1099 tax form for earnings of $600 and over.
What if I don't want to use the MyTachus portal?
If you prefer a manual process with your client, please refer to the client form provided on your flash drive. You will email your contact at Tachus the completed form, and our customer support team will call your client to schedule their installation.
